Is that a light or neon tube or something inside you AC vents? I put those in my neighbors grand am, a blue 3" tube in all 4 of the vents and it was pretty sweet looking.

That doesnt look that bad, but I dont really like it. My friend has blue ones in his '91 Ford Probe. I am not too into them...for some reason I am not a big fan of neons in cars...which is a typical thing for other teens to do my age. For some reason I find it tacky...but all my friends fill their cars with strobes and neons. It can be made to look good...but my friends didnt look too nice for some reason.

Hehe, the Hunt for Red Firebirdska. I changed the lights in the kickpanels to red, and it gives a nice ambiance to my car at night when I open the doors to let the ladies in I had the domelight red too, which really made the inside of my car look like a sub, but I changed it out because it was hard to find stuff at night, and because my car was oft mistaken for a place of prostitution

Hey man, not to start a flame or anything, but your comment is pretty childish. Let the guy do whatever he wants to his car. He is not you, and simply wishes to express himself. If the end result of Firebretha's mod's make him look mexican in your eyes, all I can say is. "Viva Mexico FiReBReTHa, and keep modding your car just as you like"

Now, i tried the moodlights thing, with red bulbs in the dome light, in the hush panel lights, and i even put them in the map lights that i have in my 97 t/a rearview mirror. The problem i ran into: 1. they get really hot. i dont think its the right voltage, but thats all that they sell at my auto parts store. 2. i believe they are only painted red glass, because after a while of use, the paint gets discolored (brown, yellow) and starts to shine through clear. im not really into changing bulbs every month or so.
So my question is, what kind of bulbs are you all using ( brand, p/n)?

Ah WELL. easy hook up, and i hate colored bulbs, they do look like crap, they discolor and arent worth the money...

red,green,yellow/amber,blue and white. all are a 5mm size like the
red ones you bought. the white and blue come 3 to a bag and the others come
5 to a bag. 1 - 3 bags $20

shippings 2, and priority is 4.00

And if you got some time you could wire up two different colors and put them on seperate switches so you could have a little choice in colors.

I like the idea of strobe lights (like musicians use) better. Mount it kinda deep inside the vents at like a central location and then the bright beams of light would flash together out of the vents into the interior. Psychodelic dude!
