Front clips universal?

Front clips universal?

What im getting at is, I have a 88 Firebird with the stock front clip that im not to fond of can I put the 91/92 Firebird clip on it? I like tyhe design better. As always thanks for the replys.

If you mean the bumper cover, then yes, it will bolt on. You will need the gfx though to make it look right. You will also have to drill some mounting holes. The fenders are the same as is the hood. The "front clip" usually means everything from the windshield foward. Salvage yards will literally cut the car almost in half and sell you the front cilp, usually from a rear end collision car in order to repair a front end collision car.
P.S. You will have to relocate the front turn signals to the 91/92 lowered positions.
