digital dash

I have a 85 Berlinetta with the digital guages. None of them worked, so I ripped them out with the control "pods". Does anybody know if regular controls (turn signals, wipers, ect.) will plug in to the wiring harnesses, or do I need to rewire?

a regular camaro (or Z) electrical system swap into a Berlinetta can be done - BUT

You would need to remove/replace 70-80% of the interior to make it work. I was able to install an 86 Z28 dash into an 85 Berlinetta,..... but it took an entire IROC parts car and a lot of patience. I was lucky in that the Z had an LG4 engine (same as the Berlinetta) and the "bulk-head" connector matched up pretty close. Only the wiper systems had to be rewired at that spot.

A brief listing of what you would need

1) AC/Heater system from the a camaro (Both side of the firewall!)

2) floor console from Z

3) Steering column from Z

4) ENTIRE dash housing from the Z

5) Mechanical speedo Sending unit from the Z

There's more - but I'm sure you get the point. If you find that you need Berlinetta stuff, let me know...

Sounds like I may come out better getting a new car. It only cost me $500.
