Second cry for help. When raising passenger window (manual) the front edge is about 1" lower than the back. Once the back edge reaches the top, a little further turn of the crank will bring the front edge up. At any point in its travel, I can grab the glass and rock it back and forth. Had the door panel off, tried moving the track adjustments, but it had no effect. The problem seems to be all the play that lets it rock. Does anybody out there do windows!!??

You may want to get the tracks looked at.

My 92 Lumina Z-34 had the same problem, the bushings that hold the tracks were worn out. Also the power window motor gears were going which helped the problem get worse.

My window is doing this also. I have a 1991 RS and my passenger (power) window is messing up. I've had to hold the switch down and when it gets to the top pull on the front of it to get it to shut. Now when it gets up to the top it just jumps up and down and makes a lot of noise. I think it's off track cuz now if I hold the window up with my hand I can hear the motor and stuff turning in the door but the window doesn't move at all. I let go and it falls down about an inch. Anyone got ideas?
