Interior almost complete out, but how the hell does this come out???
I'm refering to the A/C controls. There's one connection that I'm afraid of screwing up. It's the wire that goes to the Cold-Hot adjustment. Is it alright for me to bend the wire to get it off? (pliers?) Should I leave it there? After I get that off it's on to removing all wiring from the car. Thanks.

Pull the controls out as far as possible. It's been awhile, but as I recall, toward the rear driver's side of the unit, you'll see a slot. The adjustment cable is equipped with a tab that inserts into that slot from the bottom. From the top, use a small flat-bladed screw driver to disengage the tab. Once released, the cable can be manipulated free of the control head.
