I am looking for a set of seats...they must have a full rear seat...and not the split rears. I would prefer black....but will settle for any nice set. I would really like a set of 4th gen...but if I find a nice set of black 3rd gens I will not hesitate to buy them. I cannot have GTA seats..even though I would love to buy some..b/c they have the split rears. Where is a place around the NY area that has good prices and nice seats? Please help.

I found my 95 TA 4th gen seats on www.car-parts.com I had to drive an hour upstate but I bought the fronts for $75 each. When it asks you what year vehicle just enter 93, 94. It is self explanatory.

 

Try the carshow/swap meet at Englishtown Raceway park in oldbridge NJ. It is a very large swap meet. It is where I found my seats, basically you name the part it will be at the swap meet. I do not know the date right now, it is in late sept. (when I find the date ill let you know)

It is best to get there on friday or early saturday, it runs fri-sun.

 

Well Jim one of the nice things about our neck of Long Island is there are lots of boneyards. Try all the ones along Long Island Ave. in Deer Park, there's a bunch along West Hoffman Ave. in Lindenhurst, and one that I go to a lot Lakewood on Rte 109, between Wellwood Ave and Southern State Parkway. I may go to Lakewood soon, so if I see any nice seats I'll let you know.

Oh, and once I swap in my 4th gen seats, I'll have a full gray set for sale. Solid rear. Small tear on the side of the driver's seat, and they could use a good cleaning.

Ya I go a lot to lakewood and the junk yards along Hoffman ave, but they never seem to have what I need. Also all the junkyard owners on hoffman are either brothers or cousins.......its weird

 

Yeah, I cant find anything on Long Island Ave. I just bought a headliner board in mint condition so that I could recover it. Mine was shot. Well when you go please look for some for me...and if there is anything you need I will look on Long Island Ave. I live about 10 minutes away from those junk yards...that is where I found an entire black interior in mint condition from an '87...i went back the next day and it was gone. Very upsetting. Well keep your eyes on the look out for a set of seats and seatbelts. I would love a set of black seatbelts. I wouldnt mind any 4th gen seats (from a camaro or TA) as long as they arent tan. Thanks.

there are a few junk yards out in medford. thats where i had gone to replace my window in my old 87. i dont know if they would have what your looking for but its worth it to give them a call.

 

hey jim83ta i have a back full seat with 2 buckets for sale, there black and came out of an 87-89 Z28. Beautiful condition i live in flushing NY if your interested let me know??
