Hot window problems
When it gets hot and the car's been parked in sun for awhile, the passenger side window doesn't open or close, would it be the switch or would it be something to do with the motor. If it's cool out, the window works perfectly fine. Got me confused.

Of the two components you mention, I'd put my money on the motor being the culprit. Heat has more of an effect on the motors than the switches. If you replace the motors, have fun. I haven't had the pleasure of doing power window motors, yet, but I see it on the horizon somewhere pretty soon.

I think I'm going to find some electronic contact cleaner and spray the switch first, because the motor on the right side is faster than the motor on the left side. I'll let you all know what happens.

Sounds like a motor to me. I used to work for a Chevy dealer here, and that was always one of the main symptoms. My car does it too...even though they may not be inoperable yet, it may not be a bad idea to replace them...I'm planning to do just that here pretty soon on my '86. With my luck, the window motor will get stuck down when I'm hurrying to put the tops back in because it's going to rain
. May as well clean and/or replace the door lock actuators while I'm at it.
