i am thinking of shaving my door handles on my 91 rs camaro and was wondering if anybody has done this do yall have any pics and any info about how hard was it and how do they work

i havn't done this *yet* to my firebird, but a good friend of mine (who'll be doing my bodywork next summer) did this to his 88 Iroc.. looks sweet.. body wise, the hardest was to not have a depression/elevation where the door handle was.. he cut it out and welded in a peice to replace it.. then he bought a kit (300$ cnd) and all it was is that it went inside the door. drilled 4 holes right under the little latch for the bracket inside the door, holding the motor that opens the latch.. then he put in a spring loaded release that pops the door open 2 inches so you can open it.. the way to open it is a remote with a receiver that he put under his dash on the passanger side.. the wireing was pretty easy and straight forward... i helped him out with most of it except the body work for i'm no autobody guy.
