on an 88 Trans Am, are the lights on the outer corner turn signals and running lights, or are they just turn signals? i know on the 91-92 they are just turns, are they the same with the 85-90's? i'm workin' on re-wiring them and the outer ones are the only lights i'm not sure of.....just need a few opinions.....thanks

 

any opinions would be greatly appreciated...i'm in a bind...these lights are going in tomorrow pending on the weather...thanks again!!

All the blinkers on my 86 TA are also running lights. I assume you're talking about the blinkers on the fenders?

 

The very outside corners on an 86 Firebird are driving/fog lights. Your blinkers are up by your headlights. The 91-92 Firebird has the blinkers re-located to the outside corners, with driving/fog lights immediately inside of those. See my signature for some pics of my 91.

nah, i meant the rear tail lights...the back panel...the outer most corner.....there's a reverse light on the inside....2 brake/running lights and then the outer light in question.

Ohhh. Darn good question. Wished I had an answer for you. If I remember correctly, I only remember the inner 2 lit and the 3rd blinking only, but I would guess it could go either way...
