They are 17x11 ZR-1 rims with 315/35/17 tires. The car does it most on the passenger side through dips at speed. Additional weight in the car makes it worse.

So just how hard is it to roll the 1/4 panel lips to help? Basically the sidewalls sit flush with the outside surface of the 1/4 panel so I am not sure if rolling the 1/4 panel lip would even help.

Removing my idiot spare and keep fuel around 1/2 tank greatly reduces the problem.

Or could I simply by a stronger spring for the right rear to solve this issue.

No funny comment about ditching the rims to fix it. I am not using spacers so that is not a solution either. This is a 4th which is why no spacers.

Anyone know of higher rate springs that will help keep it at a higher ride height without ruining to much of it's ride? This is a V-6 car and I have no clue what it's spring pressure is. Could Z-28 springs possibly solve the problem?

 

Higher spring rates probably would help, especially if you would be replacing old worn out springs. I assume you don't have subs/amps either. Check the suspension board for spring rates.

 

If one side is rubbing more than the other, you might look into getting an Adjustable Panhard Bar to center the rear end. They are notorious for being off center even at stock height with good stock springs.

 

 

No, has no after-market stuff in it. No mods whatsoever except for these rims.

Originally had 16x8 rims with 235/55/16's

Rear seems pretty centered, tires don't seem to stick out farther on the right verses left. However at times it does seem to sag more on the right.

Would really prefer to cure with a higher spring rate because even with a rolled lip I think the tires will still hit the 1/4 panels. I will try and post some pics later in the week.
