my passenger side door got slamed so i went to the junk yard and got another same year and all and when i put it on and i go to close it it just hjits the meatel pole in my door jam and bounces off i can close it but i have to seriously pull up on the door can i just adjust the door if so how any other suggestions

Sounds like your hinges are bent on the new door or the pins and bushings need to be replaced. Local bodyshop will have a door alignment tool that will "bend" the hinges up some. Attaches to door post and door lock. Also sounds like your door lock mechanism isn't working correctly. May want to install the mechanism off the old door in the new one. Return springs are prone to breakage.
