Air Compressor???

Air Compressor???

I'm Planning to paint my car by myself and I would like to know what is a good size air compressor (5gal, 10gal etc..)to do the job.

I need to know a similar question... when using a bead blaster, what type of compressor should be used. How many HP, Gallons, and SPFM (that right?)

i think the same rule applies here as it does with computers....buy as much as you can afford.
that way, you'll be able to use it for more stuff later, and it'll last longer.

I would think that since you are going to be running such a low pressure to paint, all you would really need is a nice 5hp 10 Gallon tank. I am no expert, but that should do you.

Make sure you get a good spray gun, that will make all the difference too.

a minimum of a 6 horse 30 gallon should be used remember spyaying and blasting uses a lot of air but a 7 horse 60 gallon is what you should really use my 30 gallon compressor recharges a lot when blasting and sprying remember bigger is better when buying a compressor good luck Dave.
