My Window!! PLEASE HELP!!

O.K.... my passenger side window has been like this since I got the car back in May. I could get it all the way up and the front part wouldn't go up. I'd have to push the button and pull it up the extra 1-2 inches and it would be fine. But the past month it has gotten where it would get to the top and I'd keep pushin the button and it would keep goin up and down and makin this sound likeit was about to fall down. Me and my dad took the panel off today and checked it out. We took the window motor out and checked everything but it seemed to be fine. He rolled it up fine but now it doesn't jerk.. but it does still go all the way up in the back... but not the front... we still have to pull it up. If it's anywhere from all the way down up til right before it's all the way up after we pull it ... you can pull it up and down and the front moved up and down 1-2 inches.. could this be bushings worn out or something?? I am stumped! If anyone knows please help me and give me an estimate on how much it will cost to get fixed please!! Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem a while back when I bought my z. I just oiled the tracks. everything went nicely after that. Could just have some gunk stuck at that part of the track...

oil the tracks, tighten the mounts where your window is mounted and make sure your guiders are snug; but aren't so tight they grip the window or so loose it doesn't guide the window.

also, the guiders should have nice protective felt type material on it; make sure it's clean and in tact or replace it.

other than that, the motors are pretty reliable, but are old and can breakdown but probably not likely though; i would look for another solution.
