camaro interior help?
i was wondering it u can change the camaro shifter with the t/a, i like the t handle grip vs. the camaro grip.also can u put in 4th gen seats&console into a 91 z28,but i also heard that u have 2 use a console from a manual 4th gen,is it really difficult to use an automatic.because im thinking sometimes i wont be able to tell what gear im in either p,r,n,d,etc.should i get used 2 driving with the normal console, then switch?
also i have a family member who owns a auto wrecker,so ill have a wide choice of 4th gen interior parts

Just get the handle part out of a later Pontiac. It fits right onto the shaft the same way. ei. You don't have to change the whole shifter assembly, just the handle. I have one in my convertable.
It's not hard to tell what gear you're in without looking. If it's all the way to the top, you're in park. If you press the button and pull it back one (let go of the button) you're in reverse. This is also indicated by the fact that you'll be moving backwards. Hard to miss. Pull back on the shifter as far as it will go WITHOUT TOUCHING THE BUTTON and you'll be in OD. Push it as far forward as it will go WITHOUT TOUCHING THE BUTTON and it's in neutral. Piece of cake.
The best gears for the strip are the gears that puts you at your peak output RPM at the end of the run. The best gears for the street are generally between 3.23 and 3.73 depending of your preference between acceleration or gas mileage.
