91-92 ground efx mounting plate
Recently I purchased a set of 91-92 ground efx to install on my '87 IROCZ. Unfortunately, the mounting plate to hold the rear of the long rocker panel piece is missing. It is a metal plate that fits inside molded fittings on the top of the plastic piece, it has one stud which goes into the body.
If someone has these pieces I'd like to buy them. Since that's unlikely, I can fabricate them if a kind-hearted person provides a couple digital images and/or a sketch with dimensions.
How about it, can someone help?
Thanks in advance,
Duck

Since you say you can fab your own,, here's what I did (exact materials not needed)
I sheared some 18gauge stainless steel then drilled & tapped it for some 1/4-20 screws. After running the screws tight I cut the heads off the screws flush then welded them with stainless wire. Ground the welds 'flush' then used tin snips to cut to length.
Fairly simple,, very cheap (free for me) and you can make the tabs any size you want. For what you're wanting to do, I'd say 2 4-5" strips w/the stud centered would do. Mild steel is just as good,, but,, is prone to rust,, that's why I went with stainless,, plus,, stainless steel is a bit more rigid so it will hold tigher than plain mild steel. If you were to go mild steel,, I'd suggest 16-14 gauge just so the pressure will be more even against the length of the fx you're wanting to hold down,, otherwise,, you might have a gap even after tightening it. However you feel like doing it though is up to you.
*edit*
you will also want the bolt.screw no more than ¼" from the top of the piece youre making (note position in pic),, I tried to stay at about 1/8"-3/16" from the top on the ones I made so they wil slip under the fx lip easily with some room for movement.
