my friend has a 94 t/a and his seats are nice and snug. I have ridden in a 99 t/a and i love these seats. if i could but them i would. even though i have a 86camaro, i love the t/a seats. they really hold you int he seat you feel like you are flying a jet fighter when you are in them. go for it. i know i would.

The 4th gen TA seats are infininately better than the soap boxes that Chevy calls seats. Oddly enough, my 4th gen seats feel totally different than my GTA seats, even though they should be identical. The GTA seats seem to be much more compliant and have much more stuffing. I'll probably pick up a second set of 4th gen seats for my GTA.

To me, other than the top headrest, they look just like my GTA seats. I love my GTA seats. They fit you like a glove.

Unless you're like me and spend an hour making a custom wiring harness for the seats.

I think the seat backs of the new T/A seats are the same as the Ultima (GTA) seats from the 3rd gens. the difference is the seat bottoms are different.
If you look at a "GTA" Ultima seat you will notice there is an adjustment for leg support, on the newer 4th gens there is not. I personally could live without the leg support adjustment since it seems to put my legs to sleep.

The better 4th gen seats have the same adjustment for the leg support. Well, the mechanism is different, but otherwise it's the same thing. My GTA seats and my 4th gen seats have an identical appearance except for the head rest. Even the controls for the lumbar and lateral adjustment business are the same.

I recently went with black leather 4th gen TA seats in my 88 IROC (replaced gray cloth). I like the new ones a lot better. The seat is definately better, better support. Old seat was 6-way power and new one was as well. By the way, I like the TA seats a lot more than the 4th gen Camaro.
