Is it true that a firebird dashpad doesnt fit into a camaro????

 

I know they are different but I think they should fit.....

I think, just the speaker grilles are different. (Different design)

yes, i would like to know also, because one of my friends has a beat *** firebird, but the rest is in perfect condition interior wise! so i might have to swap him plus a little cash if they will fit

 

i believe that the dashpad on camaros is notched out a little for the heater vents in the middle, and birds do not have this. from what i've heard, a camaro dashpad will fit in a bird, you will just have a notch for no reason

unfortunately they are not interchangable. THe firebird dash board is about an inch shorter then the camaro's. Making it a no go. I tried this myself... found a mint t/a dash and wanted to put it in my iroc... but unfortunatly that inch kills.
