How do you installing roof rail weather stripping?

How do you installing roof rail weather stripping?
Do I need anything special to install it? Like any kind of special adhesives or anything like that? Some jackazz broke into my car, and smashed the drivers side window in the process, and the screwdriver he used to pry the window open with killed the weatherstripping. Thanks guys.
