Great stuff and sound deadning questions

I read a car of Great stuff and is said not to use in places that will get hotter than 240 degrees. I was wondering If a car will get that hot. I live in Oklahoma I have a black car and will have black interior. I am thinking nothing over 180 but I need some input.
I wanted to fill in some of the hollow spaces of the doors and other places. I just got my B-quiet roll and I wanted to do this at the same time. BTW are there any places to concentrate on with the B-quiet?? I was thinking extra on the transmission tunnel and the back cargo area. thanks for any input.
Chris

I seriously doubt that any part of the interior of your car is gonna get to 240 degrees.

Don't forget the firewall.

Youll be fine degrees wise. Under the front seat floor panels is a good place to start with sound deading.

Yeah, they're talking about around ovens, fireplaces, and stuff like that. But be careful how much you use. One of my buddies used some in his plastic bumper and it expanded and split the living crap out of it. Last thing you want to do is stick it in your fender or something and see it pop out from inside.

When you apply it, do it in little squirts, and let it set, it will take alot longer to do this way but the Great Stuff expands and Expands and expands. It will buckle steel if you try to do too much too fast.

Take your time, and do not expect to do it in one evening...
