Just bought a 92 Camaro RS part 2, need more help!

Hey,
I pulled almost all the damage parts from the front end of my Camaro. It doesn't look as bad as I thought it would but I do notice that the engine bay's frame is bent, it's like the whole thing shifted about 4 inches to the drivers side. How am I going to fix this? Oddly enough the car's front end alignment is still perfect and it drives fine. If anyone can help me out before I start putting new pieces on, let me know. Thanks! Here are some pictures..

This is a picture of the driver's side

The tire touches the front part of the chassis when I turn the wheel all the way to the right, probably due to the shift of the engine bay frame.

Here is a picture of the front of the car

Thanks for the help guys.

may need to take it somewhere where they deal with straiting frames, you may just want to find another RS or whatever and use that as a parts car. Anything is possible though if you have money. Good luck man

Ouch... thats some pretty heavy damage. Chances are that you cant fix it yourself. You might be able to maask it though. I know this is crazy, but try takin a sledge hammer to where the tire is hittin the frame. Take the tire off first. Then go get a fender from a local junk yard for a couple bukcs, put it on, hammer, bend, pry, or what ever the frame and the fender where it connects to the frame, to make it lign up as good as ya can. Now, judgin from the pics, the car might not drve straight either... Its up to you if ya feel like spendin the time and money. Either that, or use it as a good parts car (which i personally hate doin to a poor car)
Good luck!

You'll need a new or straight engine bay frame (I'd get both sides), core support (front), and hope ya know how to weld!! I would just take it to a good body shop and have them straighten the frame and supports, then you can bolt on the fenders etc.. but you need to have a perfectly straight platform to build on that way the fenders and hood line up!! Good luck!

Ouch! I would have to agree with having a shop work on it if you don't trust your welding. If you can weld, I'd go to the junkyard and chop whatever you need off of another car. Don't get discouraged, just about anything can be fixed if you've got the time. My '91 RS needs a new core support and frame stubs, but at least its not a rust bucket like my '70 Challenger. Good luck.
