guage stuff
yes...i am plagued with the government mandated 85 mph guages. adequate for legal purposes but...*evil grin* who cares about that. my question: would i have to change just the guage or the whole guage,speedo gear, tranny assembly? i would really like to see the needle goin past 85 mph and on into 90 and stuff. the guages are the least of my plagues. i am unfortunate enough to have a pre-87 700-R4 -)CRAP!(- i know i konw but... i've had it "repaired" 4 times and guess what...? SNAP! i'm about to snap haha but anyhow enough ranting eh? thanks for any help.

What kind of car, what year, Sometimes you can get a higher MPH speedo by scroungeing in the salvage yards.

Me too I'm a junk yard junkie 
nearly my entire body and some of my interior has been assembled from wrecked cars.My front nose,hood,driver fender,and drv rocker panel gfx came off a t-boned 87 IROC,got a perferct dash panel and gauge cluster from it.My pass gfx,and rear bumper came off a 89 RS.The 3 piece spoiler came off a 86 Z28.My dash came from a 82 std camaro,and many more parts.
