Does anyone happen to know offhand the length, bumper to buumper, of a 1985 Iroc-Z? I'm keeping my car outside this winter because I have no place for it inside. I'm thinking of putting a cheap breathable cover on it, then a heavy duty waterproof tarp on top of that to keep all the rain and snow off. Does this sound like a good idea? Does anyone recommend any all-purpose, all-weather, outdoor covers? Thanks in advance.

Lots of people recommend the Wolf Noah cover. Trust me, I know from experience, a cheap cover outdoors will not last. I had one, and after a year of sun and rain and everything else, it practically fell apart. Saw the blue stains on the ground.

Best price on the Noah is from summit, and best of all, the one you need is designed to fit your car. Even has mirror pockets.

 

Just do not park it on grass or dirt, that will rust out your underside fast.

I'm parking the car on pavement. Should I keep the tarp over it even with the Noah cover or just ditch the tarp?

 

I would just use the cover so the paint can breathe.
