researching a custom dash

Does anyone know of sites pertaining to fabricating a custom dash, or any custom plastic pieces for that matter? Anything from material specifications and properties like softening temperatures (ABS, Lexan, etc.) I was thinking of using plastics instead of fiberglass, incorporating a newer push-button climate control system and moving around some of the controls. It'll be insanely time consuming I know, but I just drew up an idea tonight and I figured, what the heck, I'll look into it

Any help would be appreciated.

I also REALLY want to do this, but I think I want to do it myself. I found a design that I like, and doesnt look toooo complicated. Here is a pic:

I am sure that it will be very time consuming to create, being that I dont have any experience with fiberglass, but I definately would like to try it out. One problem I see is the absence of any screws. I have no idea how I would make seperate panels that fit together tightly, and not leave any screws showing. I suppose there could be some kind of snap-in system, but I dont want to risk breaking anything. If I ever do start the project, I will be sure to post as many pics as I can.

Update... Just got a cool idea. A few bolts in the corners might actually looks cool if you were to polish them untill they were a satin finish, and not fully reflective, and if they were countersunk a little bit. hmmmmmmm.

yeah, that's actually a lot like the drawing I made, only mine is a little more complicated. Anyone else have any sites...or heck, even pics of newer dashes to get the creative juices flowin. While thirdgens are great, I think incorporating some (tasteful) modern design elements into the interior and maybe even the body can give them an extra edge and touch of class.
