About how much cash is involved when getting a 4th generation interior from a junkyard? what else would i need out of the car other than the panels? preferably how much for the newer 4th gen...

what parts were you you looking at getting? About the only thing thats a direct fit is the seats, and on firebirds, the center console swaps in pretty easy, but other than that nothing really matches right up. The doors panels can be made to work, but from what i've seen its a pain. do a search on this site for Zepher and his car, he put 4th gen door panels on it.
As for the prices, i paid $125 for my 4th gen seats (graphite cloth), but that kinda deal doesn't turn up eveyday. If your looking at getting door panels, a console and a full set of seats, i wouldn't expect to pay less than $350, and thats probably low. Tack at least $200 onto that if you want leather.

If you are going to do the entire interior, dash, doors, seats, console, etc....it's going to cost anwhere from $500 to $1500, the dash and seats costing the most.

ok minus the 4th gen seats... I am looking to buy the dash, console, door panels, and perhaps anything that matches up in the rear? (rear hatch panels and maybe rear seat speaker location panels, etc...) Does it match up?
