I just saw on Ebay these RECARO seats that were from an '87 fbody(Didn't say Camaro or Firebird). They looked AWESOME. I bid on 'em but I lost Does anyone know if there is anyplace I can get them aftermarket???

I don't think you can get the actual fbody seats, but new Recaros are available for all cars. I have a set in my Bimmer, and they are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in. Keep an eye in the classifieds and ebay, both get the fbody recaros from time to time.

I think the "Recaro" seats were dropped in 87 and the new Ultima articulating style (like in the GTA) took their place.

I have been told that the Ultima seats could have been made by Recaro, but I think the 87-92 articulating seats were made by Leer/Sigler.

That is what I have been told.

Anyone know anyplace to get new aftermarket RECARO seats online? I haven't been able to find anyplace. Also, is there a certain bolt pattern or anything or are the RECARO seats universal and just bolt right in?

 

Do you know that the police spec Lumina has Recaros in them?? Says it right on the seats!! I work for the NJDOC--and I see them ever day!! Maybe you can get your hands on a set!!http://www.recaro-nao.com/seattechnologies/
