Can i move the seats back further?

It seemed like my 88 had a lot more leg room then the 84. Is there any way i can move the driver's seat back a few inches more? I'm 6'3 & 235lbs, and so its a tight fit right now. Thanks

I wonder when the T-5 is gonna blow.

Well first off, theres a handle under your seat that you pull that moves your seat forward and back, try that..hehehe..Just kidding ..6'3" and 245lbs.here myself, plenty of leg room in all my third gens.I guess you could maybe try removing your seats and their brackets(leave brackets attached to seats) and possibly drill new holes in the bracket a couple of inches in front of the stock holes(bottom of braket, where it attaches to the floor)just an idea.

I had four steel spacers welded the the seat tracks. They allow the seat to go back about 2" farther. Works great for me but my 6"4 buddy is pretty mad I only did the one!
Who cares about the passenger.

Hey, how much did that cost to have the seats welded?

You may want to verify the seat is moving all the way back. Could have a chunk of something in the track preventing it from moving .

or you could have a bent seat rail. My brother picked up an iroc over this past weekend and the seat wouldn't go back all the way. We swapped out a bent seat rail in 10 minutes, and it instantly went back like 2 more inches.

I've also found that the thirdgen power rail set will go back further than the non power.
