I want to change doors on my firebird. I looked and. . .Well, how do you do it? Ya know, just bored, take em off, put em back on again type of thing.

 

If you have pwr doors the 1st thing to do is unplug the windows and locks--to do this you have to take off the door panel. These doors are heavy so you might want to get a friend to help you to hold it up--or you can use a floor jack w/a rag between it and the door(protect the paint)Next just start to loosen the hinge bolts between the fenders and doors. Also what I would do before all this would be to roll the windows down--so you don't break the glass--also you might want to mark where the hinges are located--so you won't have to really mess w/alignment issues too much. Open the doors and just back into the garage really fast.
