Confused about detent roller

ok here's what my detent roller looks like now.

I'm about to change my upper bushings, and before I do I want to find out a couple things.

Should I even bother replaceing the roller? Does it being crooked like that make the door sag, or is it crooked because my upper bushings are shot?

Re: Confused about detent roller

The bushing inside the roller is worn out. Maybe you already know the new one comes with a pin and new roller. Yours is shot and needs to be changed.

yes, I know it's shot. The question is, does that cause the door to sag? I know people that do without the roller entirely

The roller, or lack thereof, has nothing to do with your door sagging.

Re: Confused about detent roller

Along with doing the top hinge there is a pin with bushings on the bottom hinge that should be changed at the same time.
