bringing a car across the border to canada cheap as possible

sure could use the members help here. im trying to find the cheapest way to get a 1982 firebird from denver colorado to kitchener ontario as cheap as possible.the car is only worth 1500 bucks so paying over 1,000 to have it trailered doesnt make much sense. any idea's. thanks Steve

how good does the car run? you could fly or take a train down to colorado and drive it back to canada.

The new on tv said the border from Canada is closed to all in going and outbound. So is Mexico.

all i do when i go down to buy mustangs and cameros is i take my truck and hook my little car carrier onto it if you don't have one which most people don't you can rent them from a uhaul place pretty cheap .But that the cheapest way i have found to get them hear. it does have to stay in the states for 3 days though before it can come over as longh as you nkow

i took a greyhound from london to denver..$140 canadian. the price of gas in the mid west us is dirt cheap so it isnt going to cost all that much. and yeah it is cheap compared to 2.16 a gallon here in ontario...
[yes canada is closed up..were outta business..what news channel was that?}

thanks for the info. been checking into getting a car from the states cuz they have so much more to offer. now all i have to do is know all the red tape thats involved. sure is a lot more work buying a car over there thats for sure.
