Am I out of luck with these fender vents?

I got a 86 trans am with the air extractors in the fenders but both sides don't have the plastic tabs that hook onto the fender, anyone ever come up with a way to replicate these tabs or am I out of luck?

If you still have the tabs that came off you can plastic weld or use an adhesive like the 3M automix

Even if you don't have the tabs, you can make tabs from the special plastic repair compounds, 3m or SEM.
or , much easier, a few tabs of 3M emblem and trim adhesive will hold it in just fine.

Just to be clear I was suggesting the 3m glue, not the tape. glue holds anything, same as what you would use for the bumper moldings down the side.

Are you taliking about the clear 3M 3601 in a tube it works great for emblems or trim but it get rock hard and will break very easy thats why I use the 3M automix it also get very firm but it will hold up and the tape not a chance you could go by most any body shop and they would have it and that would keep you from having to buy the gun and the automix http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIA17P0CP9543
