heres my car.......

well this is my first car, 1984 Z28
i just wanna know if i got ripped off or not
it came originally with AC but the owner changed the motor to a 350(runs like poop but thats not y i bought it) and didnt install it, it has power doors, power winders, powers seat, remote hatch release, interior is in great shape, perfect dash pad, a small tear in driver seat, not noticable, has the custom interior option, has one new door, not painted, and the driver fender is dented, it has rear defog, hood insulation, extended range sound system, didnt come with a stereo, or the original speakers, but came with pioneer speaks, they are upgraded now, it has 3.23 open diff. 700R4 firm shift, crappy paint but im repainting it, i paid $1300 for it

I don't think you got ripped off. It needs work but it could be a nice car, its nice that it is equipped with a lot of options. This probably belongs on the Appearance board but oh well. Hey, I like the Challenger in the garage, yours is in better shape than mine no fare heh.

Now I'm real jealous . Mine is only a 318 but it is a Burnt Orange Western Sport Special with a Burnt Orange interior, so it will be sweet when its done. I have always been a Mopar guy, except for 3rd gen f-bods. But anyway to keep this on topic, what mods to you have planned for the Camaro?

nice car to start with. i drove the same car when i was in high school(12 years ago.man what a fun car). i have to admit i like the car stock in looks. those cars only look nice when they have a good nice paint job and stock rims today(some aftemarket ones are nice too)in my opinion for what its worth. i myself wouldnt drive one around with rust and a faded paint job today my wife will tell you you'll look like a burned-out hippie if you do since it is getting to be an older car. for me personally i only like the third gen of the 4 generations for those cars. the new ones are too round for my taste.i had a 96 camero rs and i didnt car much for it at all. enjoy your new wheels oh and when you find out your insurance rate just remember the old saying "you want to play you got to pay". later Steve

I think you payed a decent price for the perfect project car. Looks like it needs some work, but hey...I'd rather work on something and make it totally mine than buy something thats already completed. Believe me LOL. I've got a bone stock 87 Camaro SC, but im hoping to have it completed in 1-1.5 years. It kind of my "gradual" project.
