Blacked out tail lights?
Has anyone ever just black out the bottom red strip? I don't think I want to black out the whole tail lights because my car is white and gold and I don't want to give it the " blacked out " look. I've tried to look but has anyone ever just blacked out this one part? Vht tint or plastidip or what? Thanks guys

i'm sure folks have, but may want to check with your state laws, i can say for jersey (cuz everything has to be overly regulated) every car MUST have a reflective property at the rear of the vehicle so that even when the lights aren't on at night, you can still see a red reflector (like if it's parked on the side of the road). I never did anythying to mine cuz it never bothered me that much.

It might look good, but it's illegal in ANY state because these are federally mandated safety items.
You could probably tint them and get away with it. Our tail lights are pretty unusual compared to modern ones so most mods probably won't get noticed.
