anyone seen the inside of a new vw beetle?

was thinking about smoothing out the black trim piece that runs across the top of the door and paint it kandy to match the car. similar to the inside like a vw bug.

what do you think?

Not a bad idea really but, I think it might be a bit out of place against the rest of the black in the interior if the door is to be the onlt part to get color treatment. Just my opinion though, I could be wrong.

well my idea was to have a nice smooth painted piece as well as paint the bezels surrounding the pillar guages. but that's about it. just bring a little bit of color into the interior.

just something that's different. i've never seen it done so i was looking for something different that would catch the eye. just wanted to see what some of you would think about it.

I thought about that before & I think it would be really good looking if done right.

Sign me up... mine stock ones keep cracking! I was thinking about making some new ones out of aluminum... I was just going to leave them unfinished, but I like the idea of painting them to match the car.

well, the idea here is something like the old custom hot rods......i think it would look exceptionally nice if it was done in the same quality as the exterior paint.
