tire sizes

im about to go and get tires for my 85 z i was wondering what sizes would be good. they are 15 inch rims. (centerlines i think)what is on there now are 225/60/15 on the back and 215/65/15 on the front. i just picked up the car so those are the tires that were on there. i was thinking keeping 225/60s on the back and going 215/60s on the front any suggestions?

On 15's 235/60R15's look good all the way around. I've had 245/60's, but they look a little bit too fat for the 7 inch wide wheel. 215/60's are going to be shorter than what you have, but the same width. Stock size was probably 215/65R15's. 235/60's are really close to the same height as stock, but wider.

350 with stealth intake, holley carb, 470 lift cam. 700r4 with .5 boost valve, vette servo, tci lock-up kit, B&M megashifter. Richmond 3.73 gears, powertrax locker, timkin bearings, synthetic lube. Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

I have 225/60/15 on my 87 TA. They look fine. I may upgrade to 16 inch later in my restoration so I just went with the 2 good tires on the car and matched them. I would stay with the same size all around.
