1988 camaro build

Finally decided to start a build thread on my car. Semi-new to the site so here it goes. I purchased this car 3 years ago with the intent of cruising it around till I gathered up the pieces I need to make it a v8 car. Well that changed and it has sat the last 3 years. This year I finally got all the pieces I need so far to start the transformation. I bought a v8 t5 from a local yard for $300 a friend of mine had an older 350 laying around that he gave me. Got it tore down and it's bored out .30 over with mismatched dished pistons I found a set of .30 flattop pistons on cl for $50 now engine is ready for assembly. I also acquired some. 4th gen interior and already made the swap. Cluster dash pad and heat controls is all that needs done in there. Here are some pics so far. Please feel free to comment or speculate

Re: 1988 camaro build

Well I finally got the ol v6 engine and trans out yesterday. Previous owner broke off a bolt in the crossmember and decided to weld the hole shut plus the entire side that it was on. Pita getting the trans out. Underside of the car is in really nice shape Only thing really that's rusted up is the lines which I plan on routing new ones. Also got the new engine ready for assembly. Can't wait to get er in and finally cruise this summer. Will keep you all posted. Thanks!!
