getting ready for paint

I'm getting ready to paint my third gen and have front bumper problems. I looked in all the past post and seen great stuff on fixing cracks. But I'm dealing with scratches and groves. Any tips? Will body filler work? I want to do it right the first time.

Yes you can use a filler..but I wouldn't recommend just any bondo..best to use some lift weight filler like evercoats spot and glaze putty..that's what I have used in the past and had great results with it..

Re: getting ready for paint

I found it easier to send them out for refinishing.
