Daytona Hood Split
Hi all, i have a daytona styled hood that was on my car before i bought it and it peeled in half. Just picked it up today and the top side(actual cowl) is still in tact but the bottom structural piece is all warped and broken in half. Anyone had any experience with repairing something like this?

Epoxy would be the best way, sand off that crap they used first.
Panel adhesive would probably work too, but prob still needs to be sanded rough first 40-80 grit.

Re: Daytona Hood Split
I was planning on 36 grit to remove all the old adhesive and go back in with 3m panel bonding adhesive. Should do the trick. Hopefully the reinforcement pieces aren't warped to bad. Ill get some pictures of the bottom piece to sometime soon.
