Loose bumper cover
The rear bumper cover on my T/A is so loose you can hear it rattle when driving. The plastic retainer pins do not hold it tight against the impact bar so it can pull away from the crush pad. Any way to snug it up? Tried a search, but didn't find an answer here.

Re: Loose bumper cover
Yup, had to replace the impact bar 2 years ago. Bar is good, crush pad is good. Wonder if some shorter retainer pins would hold the cover tighter to the bar and not slide. The holes in the cover are larger than the pins, but not worn, same as in other covers I have.

What about the brackets at the sides? That's really what holding the cover in place. Sounds like you are missing them.

Nope brackets are there and tight. It's the slop of the retainers holding the cover. Took some scraps of Dura-mat and made washers for between the impact bar and the cover. Tightened things right up! Thanks for the suggestion guys.
