I bought a car yesterday with a broken t-top. I thought they were the standard factory t-top for 86 trans am, which should have been the same as 89

today I got a set of ttops from a 89 (good price) with a key and the bag. I was happy because I thought I was set. turns out these tops are a good 2 inches larger than the ones that came on my car.

Any idea who made the ttops that Came on my car, and how do I find either replacement glass, or a replacement set?

here's a pic of the two styles next to each other. I need the set on the left side, not the set from the right.

 

The one on the right looks like the standard T-Top. I don't know what's on the left but I'm thinking by your description it's one of the Cars and Concepts T-Tops?

yep! bought a set from a guy on Facebook. $175 shipped. Hope they arrive in time.

I could have bought a set from hawks for 200, but I think these are in a little nicer shape. hopefully
