1991 Firebird - Windshield Washer Fluid Pump

So I'm the proud owner of a 1991 Firebird 5.0 L TPI. I got the car for $2000 so naturally there's some stuff to fix.

Tried the windshield washers today and nothing happened (but heard the pump running), opened the hood and found the plastic fitting that the hose attaches to is broken off. I was thinking of getting this part from RockAuto: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...446&cc=1251773

It says it may require modification. Has anyone installed one of these who can say if it will just swap on without modification, or if not, what sort of modification it requires?

My guess it that it will just snap on. Since it's considered "universal" my guess is that the factory plug may not match up which would require a different pigtail. For the price I'd roll the dice.

as a rule, I never buy anything that has the statement "may require modification" the exact pump is available at your local parts store.

Alright, I'll pull the old one and check around some local places before ordering online. If I can't find it I'll probably just get the OEM one from RockAuto so I don't have to worry about messing with any modifications to the electrical connections (it's only $10 more anyway). Thanks!
