Help needed! Parking sensors
Hi guys!
Yesterday I was a little shocked to learn that my place in the parking lot was reclaimed by its previous owner. Not sure if I can get it back.
Bad thing is, it's the only one which is decently wide. All the others are so NARROW
My problem, like all Firebird owners, is knowing how near the front of the nose is to the wall. So now that I probably need to plant the car painstakingly to the inch I'm thinking of getting some of those ultrasonic parking sensors. I'm really afraid of scratching the car otherwise.

However I don't know if those will look good. The better ones can be painted in the color of the car so they would not be visible that much.
Has anyone made some experience with parking sensors or has a good idea where to mount them? Help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Help needed! Parking sensors
Got an idea.......after hours, inch your car as close to the wall as you need it. Stop and open door and look at the pavement, spray a small line on the pavement and align it with a piece of tape on the bottom of your door seal. Next time pulliny in, get close, open door, and inch to spot.
Cost's nothing and you won't have to mod. IMHO only!

Of course parking sensors would also help at work, as the parking places there are just about as narrow. Don't really want to mod the bumpers though.
