So, what's everyone's opinion? Just curious. Do you like the appearance of 3rd gens that have aftermarket sunroofs? I don't think they look right.
(I also hate the looks of 2nd gens with convertible conversions, though I don't hate convertibles in general and 4th gen convertibles looked alright.)

Can't stand seeing a sunroof in anything other than a 5th gen, and then I just wonder why they didn't have t-tops instead.
Cutting a large hole in your roof is NOT okay, and always screams "idiot" to me.

I agree on third gen coupe's. Sell the car and get a t-top car (plenty available). Sun roofs are only OK as a factory option or in a geo metro.

Not only are they ugly they will definitely kill resale value. Last time I went to carlisle, there was an extremely nice 1989 Iroc z 1le, low mileage and in phenomenal condition for $5000 or something like that.. I was thinking that is a steal and will probably get snatched up until I saw it had a sunroof installed. 12 hours after walking the aisles the car still sat there unsold.
I voted no, since 99% of the ones I see are the cheapo ones.
I did once however see a 91-92 Trans Am that came into the Pontiac Dealer I worked for back in the late 90's, with a really nicely done aftermarket Sliding Moonroof.
