I am prepping my 1984 camaro for a new paint job and i had no problem at all removing the trim from the front nose clip and under the doors but i cannot get the trim on the rear bumper off. There is about a foot piece behind the rear wheels and i took out the screws that hold it from the bottom and i tried sliding it both up and down and it does not budge and im quite afraid of breaking it if i apply anymore pressure. And also the long piece under rear bumper i have the push pins out of but it seems to connect to the other piece i cant get off.. So if anyone has taken it off and knows how it comes off better than i do i would greatly appreciate some knowledge!

 

The qtr panel pieces have two nuts each on the inner qtr panel & the bumper also has 2-3 10mm nuts per, securing it to the qtr panels.For these you'll need to remove the interior plastic (dr.side) & the spare tire cover, plus the piece behind the taillights.

The taillights also need removing as there are plastic rivets under them holding the top of the bumper inplace.
