T-Top Bar

I removed the T-Top bar from my car about 8 years ago (maybe longer). I'm to the point that i'm finally installing everything again and the gaps between the bar and the car seem a little off. Before I install it i figure i'd ask if these gaps look correct. I can fit a nickel in the rear one without issue. The front looks bent, but maybe that's correct?

To seal the bar to the car could I use this: http://www.eastwood.com/ew-flexible-...-bk-2-lbs.html
