I have a '87 TA I'm working on. I just got a '84 roller for some parts I needed.
The 84 has some immaculate older style taillights that I prefer over the newer style ones. Can I swap my 87 taillights with the 84 taillights?
Thanks Guys!

Did so on my 1990 T/A.
Works, though I seem to be the only one around whose filler panel won't fit 100%, so I ground some excess material off the trunk lock studs and it fits somewhat better since then.

Sweet! Thanks for the help!

The GTA style grid lights are practically a direct swap for the 84's. If you have the base model lights with the separate amber turn signal, you need to do some wiring work to get it right.
Have any of you guys used a knight rider tail light black-out kit by chance?

Yep sure can had an 84' when I was 17 and swapped in a newer 85-90 style trans am tail light and it was a direct swap didn't have to grind or cut anything.
