I recently refurbished my camaro and had an extra part left over. It looks like an accessory support brace, but I see no missing places for one.

I found a pic of it on ebay and it was labeled Cowl braces along with the little support beam that runs along the passenger side rear corner where the hood goes and such.

This is not the brace that goes from the passenger side exhaust manifold to the AC compressor, nor is it the brace that runs from the driver side exhaust manifold to alternator.

The part I'm talking about is the top one in this pic.

 

Right strut tower to fenderwell. You should see the bolt hole about halfway up the strut tower from horiz.

 

That is still there, never took it off. I guess that's what's in the pic after all. The one I have is a little shorter and a little fatter. Also there is a small S curve bracket unaccounted for. Is there supposed to be just the two accessory supports? One on each side, one for alt and one for AC? I almost specifically remember this part coming from somewhere else, and the accessories are all bolted up with no obvious missing parts.

 

Could it be this brace?
