iroc fender compatabilty

Looking to replace passenger fender on my 90 iroc, believe 88-90 are identical, I used a 91 rs on drivers side the only difference is slots instead of hole for mounting chin, so I assume the 92 is the same, but are the 86-87 also the same? I noticed some of the other models have badge holes mid height, anyway are 86 through 92 the same in mounting to body and marker light placement?

Re: iroc fender compatabilty

Iirc 82-90 and 91-92 (OEM) are two part numbers. Aftermarket are one part number for 82-92. Firebird, Trans Am, and vert. Camaros use different part numbers and break years. Mounting holes for emblems, ground effects are different depending on year but can be added (drilled) or removed (welded) as needed. The mounting to body and market light location will be the same on all years.

Re: iroc fender compatabilty

Besides convertibles, all Camaro fenders are the same stamping. '91-'92 have a different part # because of the slots for the front spoiler, rather than the holes. No fenders had holes for emblems, just for the spoiler and rocker GFX, if equipped.
