im planning on installing a 4th gen washer bottle in the nose of my FORMULA and the only thing that I don't know about is how important is the "number 4" bracket that goes from the lower rad support to the hood latch apron?

I mocked it up without the bracket and I will have to cut the ducting a bit but once in it looks like it wont hinder any air flow and might actually somewhat replace the areas I cut out.
