Ground Effects 85 Firebird

Hey All,

I'm pretty average at best with bodywork so i thought i'd ask for advice here first off.

With my 85 Firebird, i have the full ground effects front/sides/rear kit. However on my door panels the lower trim that attaches to the door panel is no longer attached. Seems it was previously attached with some silicone/poly based adhesive. How are these meant to attach to the door panels ? Anyone have any diagrams or pictures of the trim being attached to a vehicle (in the fitting process) ???

Cheers

Factory pieces are held on with speed nuts inside the door.

Re: Ground Effects 85 Firebird

Mine definitely don't have any speed nuts or studs for the nuts on them.
What would these be worth as a pair in good condition ?
Best place to source from ?

Is there a difference between certain types or are all ground effects of that year the same ? i.e. camaro/firebird etc...

Post some pics.

Sounds like these were added on by someone who didn't want
to go to the trouble, of accessing the door cavity interior. (I.E.
removing all the upholstery, etc.)
