IROC Rocker Panel Ground Effect screws needed

Hi,

I have a 1988 IROC that has come out of the paint shop. I'm reassembling the car, but am missing the screws/bolts for fastening the ground effects to the lower rocker panels under the doors.

Does anyone know where I can buy a set of these screws or the sizes of the screws?

Re: IROC Rocker Panel Ground Effect screws needed

Same here with 91 Z28. The ground effects are great for collecting moist debris and stimulating rust. I took all of them off, cleaned them, and reattached using Rust Bullet where needed. If I reused screws I cleaned and treated them with rust converter before re-installing. I tried to replace most of them with stainless steel screws and bolts. I located the necessary screws and bolts at SEARS, Home Depot, and a couple local "mom & pop" hardware stores.
Sorry this is not the precise answer like a GM oem part# would be, but after spending 9mos rustproofing the ole bitchin' Camaro, I am traumatized by the "designed-to-rust" by GM.
To summarize: IMHO use stainless steel (esp. where you experience wet summers and salted road winters), YMMV
Cheers!

I can see the workshop manual has a diagram explaining how the ground effects are fastened, but there is no listing of the fastener sizes.
